A seller's report is a starting point
A seller may share a Sell Snapshot and permit selected source material to be copied. That material can help you begin due diligence, but it is not an independent assessment of your purchase goals. Your records and conclusions should remain under your control.
1. Review what is available
Read the seller's published report, its date and limitations. Where copying is enabled, open the shared report's Copy information for my assessment action. From a public search listing, use the shared-report link to reach available copy options.
If no copy option is available, the seller may not have permitted copying, the permission may have changed, or the sources may no longer be eligible. Public visibility is not permission to copy every underlying document.
2. Prepare a property you control
Sign in and create your own private property record for the assessment, or select an eligible existing record you control. Activate it through the normal property billing workflow. Read the quote and confirm the category and terms before paying.
The copy screen lets you open property setup in another tab. After creating and activating the destination, return and refresh the copy page before entering your goals and completing the selection.
3. Copy the permitted selection
Review the listed material carefully and choose the destination property. Choose Acquire for a purchase assessment and record the requested goals or details. Confirm that you understand this is an independent, dated copy.
Only permitted source material is copied. If the seller selected five projects from a larger collection, that does not authorize copying the rest. Original files are copied only when the owner has separately permitted them and the system confirms eligibility.
This step does not buy the seller's Sell Snapshot, transfer their property record or automatically purchase your own Snapshot. Review any billing shown by the actual workflow; activation and an optional new Snapshot are separate actions.
4. Add your own evidence
Review the copied information and add your inspection, quotes, private documents and unanswered questions to your property and projects. Those additions belong to your workspace and do not flow back into the seller's records automatically.
Check dates and provenance. Copied material is not a live synchronization with the seller and may become outdated. Ask for newer evidence where necessary.
5. Purchase your Acquire Snapshot when ready
Open your Acquire portfolio's Reports page. Review the selected properties, purchase goals, assessment inputs and displayed price, then purchase your assessment if you want one. You may also continue organizing your property and portfolio without immediately buying a Snapshot.
Review suitability, evidence gaps, due-diligence actions and potential post-purchase work. Record your own decision status. AI-generated conclusions do not replace an inspection, legal advice or your purchase decision.
After the purchase
The real estate purchase and any transfer of a FolioProjects property record follow their own workflows. Copying assessment material does not complete either. Preserve the acquisition assessment as history and use the records you control in appropriate Improve or Operate portfolios as your goals change.
