Choose the kind of sharing you need
FolioProjects has several distinct sharing actions. Giving someone workspace access, publishing a property page, publishing a Snapshot and permitting copies are not interchangeable. Start with the smallest disclosure that serves your purpose.
Give someone workspace access
Use the property's Manage access controls when a person needs authorized access to records. Review the target and permissions before granting access. Access to one record should not be assumed to grant access to all its related records.
A public profile association is a statement about a person's or company's role. It is not a workspace access grant or verification of legal ownership.
Publish a property page
As the property record owner, open Public page and inquiries. Enter the title, location and description that visitors may see. Choose whether to show your owner profile, publish other profile associations, select public projects and enable private inquiries.
Selected public photos expose the original image and any embedded metadata. Review them before publishing. Other files and private property details remain separate. Check the disclosure confirmation and save with publication enabled.
The public-page QR code points to a stable destination. Test it while logged out before putting it on a sign. Hiding the page makes that destination unavailable. Private inquiries arrive in the page owner's inbox; they are not public comments, emergency requests or automatic email notifications.
Publish an exact Snapshot version
Open the ready Snapshot and review its public preview. Publish only after checking the actual text, objective sections and limitations. Even when a raw private input is omitted, generated prose may refer to it.
The resulting share link is unlisted by default. People with the link can open the permitted publication, but it does not enter FolioProjects public search simply because the link exists.
Make a Snapshot discoverable
Choose Manage public search listing and property showcases. Review the exact published version, add a public description and select eligible public property pages. Confirm disclosure and enable listing. You can then select that listed assessment as a property's featured Snapshot.
Publishing a different version, revoking or changing its share token, or changing the published payload disables listing until you review and enable it again. Generating a new private version alone does not replace the published report.
Control copying separately
Use Manage permitted copies and project scope to choose eligible source material another signed-in person may copy. Permission to copy original files is a separate selection. Review the precise contents, not just a project's name.
Disabling copying stops future permitted copies; it does not erase copies already created in another person's records. Likewise, unlisting a report does not revoke its unlisted share link. Use the revoke action if that link should stop working too. Previously downloaded information cannot be recalled.
Check the visitor experience
Open the public page, shared report and search results in a logged-out window. Confirm that each shows only what you intended.
